SUPREME OWNERSHIP OF LAND
- By our law, the land belongs to the Chief, not as private property, but as a custodian on behalf of the people. The Chief does not own land for personal gain.
- Through the Chief, land becomes communal property available for settlement.
- Land cannot be bought, sold, or traded under our law.
