Nyeleti ya Miso (The Morning Star) stands as the longest running newspaper in the history of Xitsonga in print media. For over four decades, it functioned as a vital medium for religious instruction, education, and current affairs. By 1969, its circulation had reached a remarkable 14,000 copies weekly circulation, marking its prominence before its eventual discontinuation.
