Maluleke (Luleka/ Luleki) is Mulenga, the conqueror.
They are coastal people of the crab totem, who expanded inland from the shores of Mozambique during the N’wanati Dynasty wars, eventually ending in what is now known as Malamulele (the land of Freedom) and its surrounding regions. Thus, they are called Ba lula tiko — people of conquest — the imperialists.
