We were given a brief by Phaks Prime Studios to write a story, and here is the product:
Big John and his roommate Don are first-year students at a Limpopo university, and both are determined to make a name for themselves at the infamous “Limpopo Love Games” – an annual campus party known for outrageous dares and wild hookups. Big John has one goal: to win the heart of his crush Xiluva, while Don is simply out to “smash” and have the night of his life. But what starts off as a night of fun quickly escalates into chaos, with rivalries, drunken fights, unexpected hookups, and a run-in with the police. By the end of the night, the boys find themselves fleeing the party with their girls, realizing the Love Games are about much more than they bargained for. A raunchy, fast-paced youth comedy in the spirit of American Pie but rooted in authentic South African varsity culture.
