Who does “Manganhe” refer to?
In Xitsonga, Manganhe is Manganye. 🐃
Why is “Manganhe” written in a foreign format?
Long ago, the surname Manganye was changed to Manganhe by the Portuguese. Why? Because their language doesn’t have the “NY” sound found in Xitsonga! Instead, they used “NH” to represent it — and that’s how Manganye became Manganhe in official documents. 🐃
